James writes: Small short bits of information is coming in via the sat phone by SMS texting, After 2 days of rough weather Babs made a half days padddling approximately 25km to Chaslands Mistake on the 24th. Now its for rounding the most southern point of the South Island and head west into Bluff to resupply and prepare for the push around and into Fiordland. Its hoped she will reach Bluff Saturday afternoon and the weather will be on her side the next weeks.
