Farewell westcoast hello Abel Tasman 110km!

18th March: No news from Babs this morning meant she was on the move, confirmed when she called on her GSM phone approaching in the dark the east end of Farewell Spit at 10:30pm. She said despite the swell being less it was still a challenge getting out, but went well. After coming around to the southern side she  decided to continue with a full moon 30 km across to Golden Bay to Totaranui with an estimated time of arrival around 2:30am. The reason she says is her hands are too sore to drag the kayak up the low tide line to the lighthouse beach. I suspect somehow she wants to get to Picton soon as well!

11 mil i en etapp? Man kan ju bli lite orolig...
Måste ha varit ett riktigt flow, häftigt.
Kämpa på vidare!
