Long Day to Karamea

13th of March:"Outside Karamea" was the short message from Babs at 10pm NZT, making a very long day, from 7am to 10pm and 70km. Weather should be good tomorrow and sunday, a strong easterly will come in the evening at Farewell Spit. Babs maybe deserves a half days rest there?

Lovely to see you in Westport Babs. Well done on a great day. We must have fed enough! Lets hope the weather continues like this or maybe you are wanting more of a tail wind.
Maybe we will be lucky and see you in Picton.
Take Care and Best Wishes

Hey Babs,
It's us, Sophie and Lea, the two girls from Karamea Beach :-)
We hope the rest of your trip goes on well and you have a great time in New ZeaLAND afterwards.
Have been thinking a lot about your journey... We're always up to date through your blog ;-)
Greets! Cya
